LAS VEGAS — A Metro police officer has shot and killed a child-molestation suspect on North Rancho Drive and West Alexander Road.The incident began in the 5000 block of Duncan Drive, Metro said. Police officers said they were interviewing the man and when they tried to place him under arrest, he ran from them.Police said they ran after him, but he kept running, so they used a Taser on him.When the stun gun did not work, they shot him, and he died, police said.
