The Hard Rock Hotel opens its newest steakhouse tonight with a local affair. Rare 120º takes the stuffy steakhouse of the past and turns it upside down. The culinary philosophy of Rare 120º is simple: using fresh and high-quality seasonal ingredients to reinvent classic steakhouse dishes with a deliciously light, modern twist. The cutting edge “a la carte” menu allows the customer to build their ideal steak and choose their sides. Redefined American steakhouse favorites include such items as the Chilled Martini Tower, exquisitely displaying an array of Dungeness crab meat, Pacific prawns, and zesty vodka citron infused cocktail sauce. Carnivorous selections include items such as the Argentinean Grass Fed Ribeye and the Tuscan Veal Chop. With the emphasis on organic and farm raised meats, the discerning customer will be tastefully reminded of the restaurant’s philosophy of quality selection. These dishes and others will be complimented by a full-fledged beverage program including an innovative martini menu and an extensive wine list.
Lounge is open from 5:30pm until 12am Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday and until 1am Friday & Saturday. Dining room opens at 6pm.
