The Rose Cocktail Lounge is a chic and seductive boite, inspired by themes of modern burlesque and old world glamour. At approximately 4,600 square feet, the boutique-sized Rose cocktail lounge provides an upscale lounge where guests may relax prior to an evening out, or unwind for the night with an alluring nightcap at Mandalay Bay.
Elegant burlesque shows will provide the backdrop, drawing inspiration from the cabaret of Marlene Dietrich, the sounds Serge Gainsbourg, and the high fashion glamour of a pin-striped Gaultier corset. The Rose’s upscale brand burlesque takes its cues not from today’s bedazzled playboy bunnies, but from the great red-lipped divas of mid-century cabaret. Performances taking place throughout the evening will be impeccably and authentically choreographed by one of the industry’s top burlesque show producers, inspired by the classic performances of Josephine Baker, Ann Corio, and Gypsy Lee Rose.
The Rose’s musical and entertainment programming will also innovate, featuring an extraordinary upscale and relevant lineup of concepts and hosts prevalent in the avant-garde New York City, Los Angeles and European markets. Playing on themes of fashion, supermodels, film and photography, celebrity and cutting edge music, the luminaries of the entertainment world, from event producer Brent Bolthouse and DJ Samantha Ronson, to iconic photographer The Cobra Snake and the world famous DJs of Deckstar, will play host on a weekly basis. The Rose will innovate the Las Vegas cocktail scene by providing true tastemakers, jetsetters and VIPs a venue that speaks their language.
Even The Rose’s art of cocktailing will be innovative, providing the only VIP table-service venue on the Las Vegas strip, where guests may enjoy VIP seating without a bottle minimum. The Rose’s VIP hosts will instead offer guests VIP seating at a set price per guest, providing revelers the opportunity to sample various cocktails off The Rose’s classic cocktail menu for one price.
The Rose’s decor will feature rich gold and black flock patterned wall coverings, lush lavender and gold banquets, antique picture frames featuring backlit LED imagery, a grand gold antique mirror bar, and a private lounge featuring Louis XIV style furniture and a private pink corian bar.
