FAMED EATERY CAPO’S OPENS A SECOND SPOT ON SAHARA
If Sinatra, Martin, Davis, and Lawford came back today – Capo’s new location on Sahara is where they would be. While the original Capo’s is still going strong, Nico Santucci has outdone himself with a new “speakeasy” inspired by a time when red leather banquettes, velvet wall paper, crystal chandeliers, and crooners were found at only the best restaurants. While the décor has a decidedly “throwback chic” vibe, the overall feeling is that the real Vegas is back! Not only does the restaurant feature an intimate dining room where live entertainment is offered nightly, but there is a casual dining option featuring a large bar overlooking the exhibition kitchen. You can also dine in or retire to the Card Room and play cards or dominos after dinner while watching classic wise-guy films. For the more adventurous – check out the Roulette Room. Like Capone’s vault, it’s hidden, so you’ll have to ask the man himself to let you see what’s behind the wall. Once the décor and vibe have taken you in, the food is what will make you come back for more. Santucci has infused contemporary influences into family recipes, to create classic yet modern Italian cuisine. With a selection of signature martinis, Capo’s also brings back the days when a drink was a drink. Served strong and with plenty of reasons to ensure you’ll remember a time when a drink was actually worth it, we promise you’ll leave happy. As an incentive to try the drinks, Fuggadaboutit Friday’s offers a 2-for-1 special in the both restaurant bars. From taking your lady out on the town to entertaining the in-laws, Capo’s Italian Cuisine on Sahara is a place everyone will remember! 5675 W. Sahara Ave. (between Jones & Decatur) / 702.364.CAPO (2276).
