FRIDAY: 

Some of the best DJs are in town this weekend so start out at Rain, as new resident DJ AM kicks off The Love Festival at The Palms going on all weekend long. Then pop on over to Prive as DJ Riz from the Crooklyn Clan takes over the turntables at the pre fight party hosted by local hottie Tracy Lee and combatlifestyles.com. Finally, if it’s house music you are craving then head to Tabu to check out Grammy Award-winning DJ Roger Sanchez.

SATURDAY: 

Start your partying early at Wet Republic, as the ultimate daylife party features a trifecta of the best House music with Roger Sanchez, Boris and Victor Calderone. But if it’s celebrities you are searching for then LAVO is your hotspot, as the Palazzo nightclub presents Dancing With The Star’s pro Cheryl Burke’s birthday celebration. Finally, for a little rock n’ roll break, check out¬†New York City new wave R&B group The Virgins who will be performing live downtown at the Beauty Bar.

SUNDAY: 

Prive is the place to be if you want some good ole fashioned hip hop. ¬†Lil Jon, the King of Krunk, takes over the DJ booth and ¬†the Dyslexic Speedreaders, Andre Legacy and Simon “Dirt Nasty” Rex will be taking over the mike. Joining them for a trifecta of a good time is television personality Andy Milonakis. ¬†Jet and Tao duke it out to see who has the better house party…Jet brings you Tiesto, while Tao brings back the one and only Erik Morillo.

MONDAY:

If you aren’t done partying yet, head to Prive for We Rock Hip Hop and Lil Kim or, for the best house music, check out Tiesto at The Bank.

Looking to laugh this Memorial Day Weekend? Vegas has two great options this Saturday. First, if you never leave home without your roach clip then head over to the Pearl Theatre for at The Palms to see the reunited 70’s duo of Richard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong as they present the Cheech and Chong Light Up America Tour. Ironically they aren’t playing The Joint, instead the new theatre at the Hard Rock is featuring the dry wit and quirky song stylings of ¬†HBO’s New Zealand folk comedy duo Flight of the Conchords….our personal favorite is this…Flight of the Conchords

Thousands of friends, fans and family members came to the Encore theater today to say goodbye to Danny Gans. Celebrities like Donny and Marie Osmond, George Wallce, Rita Rudner and Carrot Top spoke at the memorial service, which was opened with words from Elaine Wynn. The Dirrty  singer, Christina Aguilera, returns to Vegas to help launch the new 2009 Stephen Webster jewelry collection at Tao. Webster is one of the leading British figures in the fine jewelry and silver design industries. Aguilera hosts the night on Friday May 29th.

We can’t believe that Cher is turning 63 tomorrow. If you’ve seen the diva in her show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace you’d be shocked by this as well. She still looks pretty damn good! MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris announced that sex symbol Carmen Electra will be a week-long guest-star with the ensemble on the Crazy Horse Paris stage in Las Vegas. Electra is set to kick off her guest-star appearance Wednesday, July 8 and will appear nightly through Monday, July 13 in both the 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. performances.  Electra will showcase her dance ability and naturally sexy style in three acts. She will appear in a lesson on eroticism, also known as “Leçon D’Érotisme,” a riveting and entrancing performance entitled “Chain Gang” and an ensemble number, “Étoile de Paris.” Tickets for Electra’s performances go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. and will be available for a special performance price of $75 including tax and fees. In addition, there will be a limited number of VIP tickets available for $125, including tax and fees, which include a front row seat to one of Electra’s performances and a meet and greet with the star.
