Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow’s world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah’s Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Bobby Collins takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday with Lowell Sanders and Shayla Rivera. Improv shows are at 8:30p.m and 10:30 p.m. every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $31.95 (plus applicable taxes) and are available at Harrah’s Box Office (702-369-5223). Tickets are also available online at www.harrahs.com .
The Improv is housed in a 350-seat, custom-built showroom that boasts the highest quality sound and lighting systems. Friedman opened the first Improvisation Night Club in 1963 on West 44th Street in New York City. The world’s top comedians have been performing at various Improv theaters for more than three decades and the legendary name is widely attributed with generating the fast-paced explosion on the comedy circuit.
The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas was recently voted "Best Comedy Club on the Las Vegas Strip" by Casino Player magazine (July 2008), “Best Comedy Club” in the 2002 - 2004 Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” poll, selected as the 1999 - 2003 Casino Player Magazine “Best Comedy Club” and voted by Nevada Magazine readers in 2003 and 2005 as the “Best Comedy Club in Southern Nevada”.
