Inviting just a few hundred lucky contest winners, fans and close friends, Derrty Entertainment/Universal Motown’s superstar Nelly, hosted a weekend-long event at Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. The affair previewed Nelly’s long awaited studio album Brass Knuckles.  The Las Vegas celebrity weekend took place June 6th - 8th at the Red Rock Resort. Weekend events included an evening of bowling inside Red Rock Lanes VIP bowling suite with radio contest winners, a press conference, an intimate live concert performance by Nelly inside Rocks Lounge, and an exclusive after-party at CHERRY nightclub. The weekend began with a private bowling event inside Red Rock Lanes VIP bowling suite with radio contest winners.  Nelly was joined by rapper Chingy and R&B producing mogul Jermaine Dupri.   Later that evening Nelly and friends descended on the fabulous Cherry Suite for a private party where they were joined by NBA superstar LeBron James. Saturday kicked off with a press conference the Cherry Suite that included Nelly, R&B sensation Akon and Dupri, who helped produce Nelly’s brand new album Brass Knuckles.  The trio spoke about the new album and the collaboration process. Saturday evening Nelly took the stage in the Rocks Lounge to perform his first full concert in over three years.  In addition to performing some of his classic hits, Nelly showed off some of the new songs from his album.  He was later joined on stage by Akon, Dupri, Paul Wall, Chingy and The St. Lunatics to give the radio contest winners a night they would never forget. ITEM! The Mirage has welcomed its newest addition to Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat – six-week-old white, white-striped and golden tiger cubs. The public will get its first chance to see these rare and adorable cubs in a special nursery created for them in the Secret Garden Friday, June 13, 2008, which happens to be Siegfried’s 69th birthday.
