THE ROCK AND THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS -- AND A KARDASHIAN
05.27.2008
Actor and WWE superstar "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson) enjoyed dinner while watching the LA Lakers game Sunday, May 25 at Hawaiian Tropic Zone inside Miracle Mile Shops, Las Vegas. ONE DAY EARLIER, SATURDAY NIGHT, the world famous Pussycat Dolls stopped by to perform a couple of their chart topping hits at PURE Nightclub and to tease the packed house with a taste of their upcoming album, To Those Who Wait. Joined by the founder and creator of The Pussycat Dolls, Robin Antin, the sexy ensemble got the party started by singing “Buttons” and “Don’t Cha” before unleashing their soon-to-be-smash-hit “When I Grow Up” on the main VIP stage of the posh party palace. Fans and club goers went crazy on the dance floor below as the sexy, soulful recording artists amazed the crowd with their talented vocals and sultry dance moves. Following their performance, The Dolls took to a luxurious white-leather VIP bed where they enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and a spell-binding mix spun by DJ Hollywood. Also kicking off their Memorial Day Weekend at PURE last night was Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson and professional
boxer Zab Judah.
Prior to their phenomenal performance at PURE Nightclub, The Pussycat Dolls dined at Las Vegas’ hottest sushi spot, Social House. Seated in the swanky Newspaper Room, the girls savored an array of Social House favorites especially made for them by executive chef Joe Elevado.
Farther South on The Strip, LAX Nightclub illuminated the Friday night party scene as reality show
star Khloe Kardashian and professional basketball player Jermaine O’Neal of the Indiana Pacers popped into the party palace for the night. Actor Shemar Moore, who most might recognize from his six-year stint on soap opera The Young and the Restless, NBA superstar Antawn Jamison and former NFL player Melvin Johnson were also spotted soaking in the scene at LAX at separate tables on the dance floor of the beautiful, two-story nightclub.
