The Inaugural Hot Pursuit at Club Spring Mountain on Sunday was an adrenaline-filled afternoon of motorsports, entertainment and hospitality where nearly 500 people experienced thrill of taking “hot laps” in 450hp Radical cars at speeds of more than 110 MPH, Karting at speeds of 80-plus MPH, and ATV rides throughout the facility’s picturesque scenery – all to celebrate the official grand opening of the exclusive and luxurious Club Spring Mountain’s new $3 million resort-style clubhouse. Las Vegas rock and roll band, Otherwise, played energy-filled sets to the crowd as they enjoyed food prepared by BOA Steakhouse, cocktails by Alchemia Vodka, and beer from Knights Head premium brew. Guests were kept energized by Red Bull and hydrated by Smart Water and Vitaminwater. The day’s main event race, the Hot Pursuit, featured figureheads representing some of Las Vegas’ hottest hotel/casinos, auto dealerships and nightlife groups including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Lamborghini Las Vegas, Light Group, Luxor Hotel Casino, Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, Prive Nightclub, Red Rock Hotel Casino, Silverton Hotel & Casino and Tao Restaurant and Nightclub racing against each other in custom-wrapped Lotus cars. B.J. Baldwin, representing the Light Group, took home first place, followed by Nick Jones (Team Lamborghini), and Nick Landaruzi (Team Luxor), who is managing partner of Cathouse. The ladies Kart race preceded the day’s main event and featured women representing the same teams mentioned above. First place was taken by Team Silverton driver and Spring Mountain spokes model, Jen Gillum. Second place went to Sarah Kim (Team Luxor) and third place went to Kim Fiasco (Team Prive).
