Some of the world’s best pole dancers gathered last night at JET Nightclub at The Mirage in Las Vegas to compete in the 3rd semi-annual Pole-A-Palooza competition. Hosted by the zany Jeff Beacher with help from his sidekick, “Wee Man,” the event attracted girls from New Mexico, Los Angeles, and as far away as South Africa. Along with lean, limber and lovely ladies from every major Sin City strip club, and even a few contestants from pole fitness studios, all girls had one goal in mind: the $10,000 cash prize.  After the first round of competition, the field was narrowed down to seven finalists.  Before the final three showed off their pole prowess, one local high-roller upped the ante and offered an additional $10K of his own cash to make the total prize $20K for the lucky winner.  Anika, an instructor at Pole Fitness studio in Las Vegas, was voted winner by the capacity crowd of adoring and appreciative patrons.
